Discussion on review of National Cooperative Policy 2069
n Monday, the federation held discussions with the chairpersons and representatives of cooperative banks, thematic central cooperative unions and Upatyaka district associations with the objective of giving suggestions on behalf of the campaign in the review of the National Cooperative Policy 2069 drafted by the National Cooperative Development Board.
FNCCI President Minraj Kandel said that the cooperative policy should be discussed as it is the guideline of the cooperative movement. He said that he would suggest to include the spirit of the campaign and the spirit of the constitution in the policy. From the discussion, it has been concluded that the policy should be issued only after extensive discussions with the cooperative workers.
Incumbent Chairman Keshav Badal said that various studies have shown that cooperatives have been making significant contribution in the program of multidimensional poverty reduction. While reviewing the implementation of the National Cooperative Policy, 2069 BS, he stressed on the need to accurately analyze the achievements.
